   Dealer Policies

  1. As an authorized dealer for Cabinets For Contractors, it is your responsibility to communicate our policies, product information, order information, claim information, etc. to your customer.
  2. Cabinets For Contractors will not provide any details to your customer at any time, nor will we be held responsible for any inaccurate information you or your associates provide.
  3. The resale of Cabinets For Contractors products is prohibited unless written approval has been requested and approved.
  4. If you have been approved for online resale by Cabinets For Contractors, you are only permitted to sell on the website(s) listed at the time of approval. Any additional websites would need prior approval. 
  5. Before publicizing your selling price, all dealers must adhere to the minimum advertised price as confirmed with your Cabinets For Contractors representative.
  6. Cabinets For Contractors will not accept shipping damage claims for warehouse pick-up orders that are later shipped at the dealer’s discretion.
  7. Claims for base, wall, and tall side panels that are scratched on the outside that do not impact the finish on the inside of the cabinet or base panels that exceed a width of 41 inches, and any and all trim pieces will not be honored. The customer will be responsible for the cost of the replacement part and shipping of the aforementioned.

Order Processing and Payment

  1. All orders from Cabinets For Contractors-approved dealers must be submitted online through your dealer portal.
  2. Full payment is required before an order will be processed. (This includes backorders and approved written add-ons.).
  3. Payment can be made by Credit Card, Debit card, Check, or ACH. If you want to use another form of payment, contact us at [email protected].
  4. Once the order is in process, no order changes will be permitted. Additional items can be processed online as a new order.

 Shipped Order Lead Time

  1. Express Advantage shipping is available for all flat-pack orders and will ship within the time allotted under the cabinet name on the website. 
  2. Assembled orders are processed within the time allotted under the cabinet name on the website plus 10 full business days.
  3. A common carrier cannot ship assembled cabinets; they will need to be picked up, or we can arrange a dedicated truck for delivery. Before placing an order that requires assembly, email us at [email protected] and indicate if you will be picking it up or if you want Cabinets For Contractors to arrange shipping on a dedicated truck. 

Same-day pick-up of flat-pack cabinets:

Orders must be placed (submitted) and paid in full, including the 10% rush fee. This applies to orders placed before 12:00 p.m. EST. (This is an estimate only and is not guaranteed. High volume, weather, and other circumstances can affect the actual order processing and transit times). 

Rush orders are only available for cabinets that are at our Interlachen, Bremen, East Atlanta, and Missouri warehouses. 

  • Rushes are not available for ship-out/assembly orders and discontinued lines.
  • Rushes are not available for assembled cabinet orders.

Please select “RUSH FEE” at the time of checkout online by 12:00 PM EST to have the rush applied.

 Warehouse Pickup Order Lead Time

  1. Pick-up orders are only available at Flat-Pack at our Interlachen, Bremen, East Atlanta, and Missouri warehouses. Pickup orders are processed and made available for pickup within 3 full business days.
  2. Assembled warehouse pickup orders are processed and made available for pickup within 15 full business days, in addition to the shipping time that is indicated under each door style on the website.
  3. Rush orders will be processed for an additional fee. (Only available for flat-pack orders.). All orders with rush services are subject to a total item quantity review. 
  4. The “Rush lead time” only applies to warehouse processing time and does not apply to transit time to your destination.
  5. Same-day warehouse pickup is available for flat pack orders placed by 12:00 PM (local warehouse time) and requires a minimum 3-hour processing time at our Interlachen, Bremen, East Atlanta, and Missouri warehouses.
  6. Same-day shipping is available for flat-pack orders placed by 12:00 PM (local fulfillment warehouse time). Orders placed after 12:00 PM will be processed the following business day and are only available at our Interlachen, Bremen, East Atlanta, and Missouri warehouses.
  7. Assembly orders and/or discontinued lines are not available for rush service. 
  8. Rush must be selected at the time of checkout.
  9. “Day One” starts on the next full business day after the order is placed.
  10. Cancellations made after the order is picked will incur a 10% processing fee.
  11. Cancellations made after an order has been loaded onto a carrier’s truck or picked up will incur a 20% restocking/processing fee.

Assembly and modifications

  1. Assembly and limited modifications are available for warehouse pickup and freight-shipped orders (from select warehouses) for additional labor and shipping fees as calculated by the website.
  2. A limited number of modifications are available on framed assembled items, including but not limited to:
    1. Increased Depth
    2. Decreased Depth
  3. Prepped for Glass: Route Door(s) and Finish Interior
  4. Double-Oven Conversion 
  5. Orders with modifications will be subject to the additional 5-business-day lead time.
  6. Full payment must be received before the start of modifications.

 Shipping and Delivery

  1. All LTL freight orders are packaged in individual boxes, palletized, shrink-wrapped, and strapped.
  2. All LTL freight shipping charges are calculated online at the time of checkout.
  3. Cabinets For Contractors reserves the right to fulfill orders between multiple shipments from different distribution facilities without prior notification to the customer and with no additional cost applied.
  4. Changes to the shipping method after checkout may incur additional charges.

 LTL Shipping

  1. Please reference the notation under the cabinet door style name on the website home page for the expected lead time for each cabinet. Please account for at least 1 extra business day for residential deliveries and deliveries requiring a scheduled delivery appointment. 
  2. Shipping charges must be paid for when your order is paid for. (Orders exceeding standard LTL sizes are subject to additional fees for full truckload shipping.).
  3. The tracking number will be provided via email 1 business day after the order has shipped.
  4. All destinations must be tractor/trailer-accessible or limited access fees will be applied.
  5. For residential deliveries and deliveries requiring an appointment, the freight company will contact you 24 hours in advance to schedule the delivery (usually a 3–4 hour window).
  6. Shipping charges cover 1 delivery attempt. The customer is responsible for any additional shipping and handling charges for delivery failures due to customer circumstances.

 LTL Delivery Policies 

  1. The driver is only responsible for placing the pallet on the ground for deliveries that had lift gate services selected at the time of checkout.
  2. Address classifications are based on city zoning; therefore, it is possible to have a commercial property in a residential area. In this case, the delivery would be considered residential and subject to the residential delivery fees and conditions.
    A responsible party must be present to inspect, inventory, and sign off on delivery. 
  3. Regional delivery services are available in select markets. Rates and delivery services vary by market.
  4. You must note if the number of pallets delivered does not match the number listed on the driver’s delivery receipt copy.
  5. A careful inspection of packaging conditions is vital to filing a freight claim. Any visible damages must be noted on the paperwork when signing for the delivery, as well as documented with photos. Even if you are not sure if the contents inside contain damages due to the exterior’s condition, you MUST indicate this on the delivery receipt to be able to claim concealed damages in the future. TAKE PICTURES OF THE PALLETS WITH THE DELIVERY TRUCK IN THE BACKGROUND, EVEN IF THERE IS NO OBVIOUS DAMAGE.
  6. Do NOT refuse damaged items or orders. The delivery should be accepted with documentation of the damage, and a claim should be filed online.

 Warehouse Pick-Up Orders 

Orders must be picked up within 10 business days of receiving the ready-for-pickup email notification.

After ten business days have passed, storage fees will apply as follows:

  1. $25 per day per open order
  2. Fees will accumulate for up to two weeks, up to a maximum of $250.
  3. In accordance with our policy, any orders that remain uncollected beyond a period of five weeks following email notification will be subject to return to inventory and subsequent refunding, except for storage fees and a 10% restocking fee.
  4. The order(s) will be released for pickup after any fees assessed are paid in full.
  5. Orders placed for warehouse pick-up are not palletized, wrapped, or strapped for shipping purposes.
  6. If you are sending a delivery service that requires secure palletizing of products, the order will incur additional packaging and labor fees and must be approved by Cabinets For Contractors before pickup.
  7. For liability purposes, Cabinets For Contractors will not help load warehouse pick-up orders without approval from the pick-up party.
  8. Cabinets For Contractors will not accept transit damage claims on warehouse pick-up orders that are picked up and/or shipped with delivery services contracted out at the dealer’s discretion.

 Replacements for Missing or Damaged Items (Including Concealed Damage)

  1. Cabinets For Contractors has the final determination of resolution for any manufacturer warranty claims submitted. Solutions should be discussed with Cabinets For Contractors before being promised to the end customer.
  2. Blemishes or other damages not impacting the structural integrity of a cabinet will not warrant a full cabinet replacement. Cabinets For Contractors reserves the right to provide alternative products or components as solutions.
  3. It is our option to provide repair parts or replace them with functionally equivalent products. A return of the product may be required for replacements. 
  4. Freight claims for obvious damage or shortage can only be accepted when indicated on the bill of lading (BOL).
  5. Freight damage claims must be filed within 5 business days. No claims will be allowed without the proper paperwork noting the damage at the time of delivery.
  6. To file a claim for damage or a shortage, please log into our website and use our damage claim module.

The following must be included to process the claim:

  1. Order number
  2. Buyer’s name
  3. Shipping address for replacements
  4. A brief description of damage or shortage, including item numbers and/or parts.
  5. Photos of the damage are required. 

Warranty Details

  1. We do not warranty parts that can be repaired by a competent cabinet professional.
  2. Pictures of the damaged packaging and product are required to be eligible for a full replacement.
  3. Upon receipt of the damage claim, we will review and approve or deny the request within 48 business hours. Replacements will then be shipped out within 24-48 hours after approval.
  4. Expedited shipping service is not available for replacements and/or parts.
  5. All damages must be documented and reported upon opening the boxes.
  6. Missing items must be reported within two weeks of delivery.
  7. Concealed damages must be reported within 72 hours of delivery.
  8. Items that have been assembled and installed are not eligible to be claimed as damaged.
  9. Cabinets For Contractors cannot be held responsible for any labor costs accrued during the installation of any of its products sold via any of its channels of distribution. This includes but is not limited to, items that may be flawed or have become damaged in transit.

 Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) 

  1. All returns must be authorized by Cabinets For Contractors before being shipped for return.
    1. For authorization, please send an email request to [email protected]. 
  2. Returns must be received by Cabinets for Contractors within 30 days of the purchase.
  3. All items must be returned in their original, unopened packaging. Assembled cabinets are ineligible for return.
  4. We do not accept returns for trims, moldings, fillers, panels, or sales tools. 
  5. Please note that discontinued cabinet styles are non-returnable. 
  6. Qualifying returns will incur a 20% restocking fee.
  7. You are responsible for returning the product(s) and for the cost of shipping the returned item(s).
  8. Any returned product(s) deemed unsellable will not receive a credit. 

Marketing Policies 

  1. Cabinets For Contractors cannot be held liable for applicable marketing costs for marketing our products.
  2. Private labeling is done at the dealer’s discretion.
  3. The use of any images and sales materials in your private label marketing can be released by emailing [email protected]

Display Policy 

  1. Cabinets For Contractors is happy to partner with our displaying dealers. We now offer a 50% credit on Cabinets For Contractors products that are ordered and installed in a dealer’s showroom. Products can only be for display, not for functional use. Desks, bathrooms, breakrooms, etc. are not eligible for rebates. Each dealer can earn up to a total of $2,500 in credits. The display items must be ordered online, paid in full, and pictures sent to [email protected] of showroom installation before a credit can be released.
  2. Please note: Drop-shipped items do not qualify as part of the display program. 

Third-Party Design Programs

  1. Cabinets For Contractors does not guarantee the accuracy of any third-party design software. This includes (but is not limited to) 2020 Design and ProKitchen Design software.
  2. Please refer to your dealer portal for accurate information on Cabinets For Contractors product specifications and pricing.   

Privacy Policy

  1. All customer information is confidential and will not be sold.
  2. Your personally identifiable information may be used by us for all legal purposes, which may include, but are not limited to; responding to your requests, processing your transactions, notifying you of new products or product-related news, and for administrative purposes such as conducting incentive programs or tracking which parts of the site are of interest to you.
  3. Cabinets For Contractions reserves the right to use your information to collect on an unpaid order or improper billing information.
  4. Cabinets For Contractions will not sell your information to any third party vendor and will not contact you for any other purpose than completion and processing of your order.
  5. Opting out of marketing and promotional communications: You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that we send, replying "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to the SMS messages that we send. You will then be removed from the marketing lists. However, we may still communicate with you - for example, to send you service-related messages that are necessary for the administration and use of your account, to respond to service requests, or for other non-marketing purposes.
  6. This website offers a feature that allows you to submit a customer testimonial within the website. By using this feature, you warrant that we are entitled to and allowed to use this information on our website and other promotional pieces to promote the customer satisfaction of our services.
